What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a holistic healthcare method aimed towards facilitating the human body's built-in ability to heal itself. To achieve this, chiropractors are trained to be proficient in a variety of adjusting techniques that can be adapted to meet the needs of different patients. A chiropractic adjustment is a hands-on or tool-assisted treatment issued by hand by a state-licensed and board-certified physician. These adjustments are done to correct minor misalignments, or subluxations, in the joints that can irritate nerve tissues causing pain or symptoms along the path of that nerve.
